The College of Southern Nevada will welcome national experts on higher education practices to its campus this week for a symposium on Hispanic Serving Institutions and Minority Serving Institutions. Centered around the theme “Leveraging Funding for Student Success,” the symposium is an opportunity for higher education experts to collaborate with other professionals and community members interested in achieving high-level outcomes for minority students, advancing the mission of higher education institutions, and connecting with the unique heritage of Nevada’s student population. CSN was Nevada’s first Minority Serving Institution and first Hispanic Serving Institution.
